  • 30th July 2020 - Professor Chris Budd OBE spoke about V-KEMS at IMA Mathematics 2020.

  • 20th July – 24th July 2020– V-KEMS hosted the 162nd European Study Group with Industry with the University of Leeds.

  • 15th July 2020 - V-KEMS joined the INI Infectious Dynamics of Pandemics Programme to provide feedback from the Unlocking Higher Education Space Virtual Study Group.

  • 7th July 2020 - The Benefits of Peer Transparency in Safe Workplace Operation Post Pandemic Lockdown, was submitted, motivated by the Unlocking the Workforce Virtual Study Group.

  • 2nd July 2020 - Unlocking Higher Education Spaces - What Might Mathematics Tell Us was published.

  • 15th - 17th June 2020 - Unlocking Higher Education Spaces Virtual Study Group took place.

  • 12th June 2020 - V-KEMS featured in the Mathematics Today IMA Article – The Virtual Forum for Knowledge Exchange.

  • 11th June 2020– V-KEMS hosted a session for over 250 people regarding the need for an academy for the mathematical sciences on behalf of the Big Mathematics Initiative of the Council for Mathematical Sciences.

  • 2nd June 2020 - Operations Manual for Running a Virtual Study Group published.

  • 29th May 2020 - the V-KEMS website was launched.

  • 7th May 2020 - Working Paper published on Guiding Principles for Unlocking the Workforce - What Can Mathematics Tell Us?. This was followed by a webinar discussion of possible principles and scenarios for the UK workforce returning to the workplace.
