1st August 2023 -  A paper on Process modelling of NHS cardiovascular waiting lists in response to the COVID-19 pandemic has been published in BMJ Open. This follows the February 2021 Virtual Study Group on Modelling Solutions to the Impact of COVID-19 on Cardiovascular Waiting Lists. The paper looks to model the referral, diagnostic and treatment pathway for cardiovascular disease (CVD) in the English National Health Service (NHS) to provide commissioners and managers with a methodology to optimise patient flow and reduce waiting lists

14th November 2022 - A paper on Getting the most out of maths: How to coordinate mathematical modelling research to support a pandemic, lessons learnt from three initiatives that were part of the COVID-19 response in the UK has been published in the Elsevier Journal of Theoretical Biology. This describes three initiatives (V-KEMS, IDP research programme and RAMP) that sought to address the challenge of coordinating the wider research interest so as to enhance the UK’s capacity to provide mathematical modelling research to support scientific advice to the UK government.

4th August 2022 - Working paper on Recovery from the Pandemic: Transport Logistics has been published following the March Virtual Study Group. 

24th July 2022 - Working paper on Test Trace and Isolate for epidemic control: lessons learnt from COVID-19 in the UK and preparing for future pandemics has been published following the December workshop

17th June 2022 - "Aortic Stenosis Post-COVID-19: a Mathematical Model on Waiting Lists and Mortality" was published in BMJ Open.

12th May 2021 - Assessing Risk in the Retail Environment during the COVID-19 pandemic was published in Royal Society Open Science

18th March 2021 - Working Paper published on Modelling Solutions to the Impact of COVID-19 on Cardiovascular Waiting Lists - following the February Virtual Study Group

8th March 2021- Plus Magazine published a podcast with Dr Jess Enright and Dr Ramesh Nadarajah about the Virtual Study Group - Modelling Solutions to the Impact of COVID-19 on Cardiovascular Waiting Lists

21st February 2021 - SARS-COV-2 Infection in UK University Students: Lessons from September-December 2020 and Modelling Insights for Future Student Return. This pre-print is from the 2020 "Infectious Dynamics of Pandemics" programme and follows on from initial discussions at the Unlocking Higher Education Spaces Study Group. 

27th January 2021 - The Benefits of Peer Transparency in Safe Workplace Operation Post Pandemic Lockdown was published in Interface - a Journal of the Royal Society. This was motivated by the Unlocking the Workforce Virtual Study Group.
